LANDSCAPING ACTIVITIES AND GUIDELINES:
The landscaping contractor conducts a minimum of two environmentally friendly herbicide sprayings of weeds and grass on the public walkway. Once in mid-June, and subsequent sprays as needed with the final spray no later than mid-August.
The contractor cleans out all dead plant debris and trims large weeds/bushes. Subsequent spraying occurs to maintain/control weed and grass growth in the public walkway.
Seasonal plants and flowers are installed in the hanging baskets along 71st St. in mid-June and in mid-November. The contractor waters, weeds, prunes, and removes litter to maintain the planted trees, baskets, flowers on sidewalks and corners.
